Debbie Miller The Director: Debbie Miller
Debbie Miller, also known as Grandma Miller, is the assistant director of Freedom Early Learning Center; she has been in this position since the school opened in September of 2002. She graduated from Western Michigan with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Language Arts. She taught elementary school for 20 years. She has 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She loves to read and scrapbook.

Pre-K Teacher and Account Manager: Cathy Tilma 
I graduated from Cornerstone University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Elementary Education.  I have worked at FELC for 5 years in the Pre-K class and one year in the office position.

     
The Garden Room: Melissa Hunt
Hi, my name is Melissa Hunt.  I have been working at FELC for four and a half years.  I have my Child Development Associates specializing in Infant and Toddlers.  I have been married for six years, and I have two boys: Anthony who is four years old and Brady who is three years old. 
     
Cadence Seeley The Discovery Room: Cadence Seeley
My name is Cadence Seeley.  I have worked here at FELC for three years;  .  I have my Child Development Associates specializing in Infant and Toddlers.  This is my second year as the lead teacher for FELC's mobile infant room.  I feel that God has called me to work with children, and I have a great love for them. 
     
Tara The Investigator Room: Tara VanOosterhout
My name is Tara Van Oosterhout.  I was born and raised in West Michigan, and currently I live in Holland.  I have been working with young children for almost seven years.  I have worked at FELC for three years, two of those years as head teacher of our toddler room.  I am currently making plans to go back to school to further my degree in child development.
     
The Little Scholars Room: Holly Schnooberger
I have been working with children for over eight years.  I have my Child Development Associates specializing in Infant and Toddlers.  I am married and have two awesome kids, Kamryn who is ten years old, and Nolan is seven years old.  My husband and I are excited to welcome home our third child this October!
     

3s/4s Preschool: Kari Robinson
Hi, my name is Kari Robinson.  I have worked at FELC for eight years, six of those years in the Preschool 3s/4s program!  I am married, and I have two beautiful children: Aaliyah who is three years old, and Camdyn who is one and a half years old.  I attended Baker College, and I earned by Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I attend Kentwood Community Church.  I am looking forward to a great year!

Pre-Kindergarten-Azul: Barbara Upton
My name is Barbara Upton, and I am from Monterrey, Mexico.  I graduated in 2002 from Escuela de Educadoras "Laura Arce" with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been working with children for over nine years.  I am truly thankful and blessed to be teaching here at FELC.

     
Tara Pre-Kindergarten-Rojo: Deb Smeby
I have been working for FELC since February of 2004.  I graduated from Western Michigan University with my Associates in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors in History.  I started my career at FELC in the pre-kindergarten room to help finish off the year.  For the next school year I created and taught the Kindergarten K-Kingdom class.  This year I am back teaching the pre-kindergarten class, and I am very excited to do so.  I am married and have four beautiful girls.
     
K-Kingdom/School Age: Laura Miller
My name is Laura Miller.  I have been working at FELC for seven years, and I have my Child Development Associates.  My husband and I have been married for four years.  I am the coordinator of our church's Cubbie Program.
     

Spanish Program: Aida Valdez
My name is Aida Valdez and I am a Spanish Teacher graduated from UAME-Universidad Autonoma Deo Noroeste.  I have been working with children of different ages for over 15 years.  I have two daughters, one in high school and one in college as well as an adorable but hyper Irish Setter.   This year I am heading up FELC's Spanish Program and I am working in the Pre-Kindergarten-Azul room.
